In Germany

Neustadt: the Provincial Center and House of Formation;

St. Michael’s Rehabilitation Center for Youth: Sisters trained in psychology and in arts and crafts minister in the center.

One sister is in charge in a parish.

Florsheim: a Priory and General Hospital with sisters in administration, nursing and pastoral care.

Diessen: a Priory and High School for girls with sisters as principal and teachers. Sisters also teach in the local kindergarten.

Volkersberg: Diocesan Youth and Family Center with Sisters in charge of the adult education, youth programs, and domestic department; organist and sacristan in parish church.

Other Sisters are involved in the following ministries: Hospital Chaplain, Pastoral Associate in parish and diocese working especially with women in the former East Germany.

Diocesan Administrator for Renovabis, an aid program for Eastern Europe.

In England

Pinner: small community involved in various parish ministries: catechetical organizer, pastoral ministry to homebound, nursing and care for the elderly.

Preston: semi-retired community with some parish outreach

Other Sisters are involved in teaching the mentally handicapped in London and in operating a Catholic Bookstore in Doncaster.

In South Africa

Oakford: Motherhouse and Infirmary for Sisters, High School and Related Boarding School for Girls, Pre-School and Elementary School for black children, clinic and ambulance service to outlying stations, old age home for the destitute, Marian Conference Center for Christian Groups.

Ethembeni: pre-novitiate on Oakford premises. Sisters are responsible for pre-novitiate formation program. One sister teaches at the Oakford elementary school.

Phoenix: a newly established community in a fast-growing Indian city with parish ministry in catechetics, liturgy, pastoral care and alternate medicine.
Magaliesburg: community at SA Boys’ Town with ministry to the boys in residence in the area of nursing care, administration, and cooking; nursing care at local clinic and outlying stations.

Nursing and pastoral care in a Catholic hospice for aids ministry.

Kimberley: long established St. Boniface Mission with sisters teaching in the Christian Brothers High School, others serving as parish sisters in the nearby community; involvement in feeding program for the poor of the informal settlement bordering on the Mission.

Ekukanjeni: rural mission with sisters involved in local clinic, parish ministry, and in charge of kindergarten.

Empangeni: well-established Catholic School from pre-school level through High School with boarding facility for high school girls.

Bluff / Durban: St. Dominic’s Retreat Center at the Indian Ocean.  Our sisters minister in administration, retreat direction, creative workshops, and supervision of domestic staff.

Other sisters are involved in teaching at Our Lady of Natal Catholic School, ministering in two parishes in counseling and religious education and in the city’s welfare institution as social worker.

Johannesburg Communities:
Bedfordview Generalate: headquarters of our international congregation.

Villa Maria: Regional Center; one sister serves in pastoral ministry especially to aids victims in nearby hospitals.

Casa Siena: a community of sisters involved in a different outreach in the city of Johannesburg: community consultant giving workshops in leadership development, team building and facilitating national events. Diocesan director of Pastoral Councils responsible for Christian leadership formation especially in the black and colored community.

Home economics teacher at a Dominican school.

Emmanuel: Spiritual direction and retreat giving on national level; sewing classes in developing township.

Koinonia: Conference and Retreat Center where sisters serve as administrator, food supervisor, in supervision of domestic staff; one sister is on the teaching staff of the diocesan seminary in Pretoria and another sister in pastoral ministry in public hospitals.

Hlabisa: a community in the heart of rural Zululand. Main ministry is catechesis in the parish and outlying missions.

Pietermaritzburg: Villa Assumpta, residential home for the elderly.  Sisters administer the home and serve the residents in various capacities especially nursing care.

Geluksdal: Common Dominican Novitiate for four Dominican congregations of women in South Africa. At present the director is an Oakford Dominican.

In the United States

California:

San Leandro: Regional Center and Formation House spiritual direction, home care, parish work, education

Oakland: social work, visiting of the homebound

Sunnyvale: care for the elderly, secondary education

Arizona:

adult education in spirituality, day care for children, social services for the poor and homeless.
